1. Hidden knot
First complete the basic knotting ( click here for the basic tutorial ).
If there is a hole, tuck the lace into the hole.
Lift up the skirt, find the lace head inside, and fasten the lace. Now the extra lace is completely hidden inside the skirt.
If there are no holes, no worries, you can tuck it from the top, then find the lace inside, and just fasten it.
This knot makes the extra laces disappear completely, which gives the skirt a clean look.
2. Single ear knot
Hold the laces with both hands, crossing them.
Twist them counter-clockwised.
Twine the left lace four to five times from bottom to top.
Pull out a loop, which we called the ear.
Pass your hand through the loop to grasp the lace, and fasten the lace from bottom to top.
Repeat on the other side, a cute pair of ears will born instantly.

3. Adjustable knot
Hold the laces with both hands, crossing them.
Twine the right hand lace 1 time from top to bottom.
Transpass the loop from outside and grasp the right lace, pull it out.
Then get the left lace in the same way.
Now you should have two knots, one left and one right.
Fasten the right lace and move the right knot to the left knot.
If you wish to adjust the right lace, hold the right knot and pull it firmly, same to the knot on the left side.
If you grab the wrong knot, you might not be able to adjust it.
4. Butterfly knot
Fasten the laces to one side, cross the laces and twist them twice.
Leave a little space for a loop and tie a knot.
Fold the right lace.
Lay the left lace on the top.
Pass the space in the middle of the two laces and tighten them. This step is a little tricky, but you can refer to the way how a tie is knotted.
Now you have a nice bow on your skirt.
